Historique :	Cette huile sur toile a été réalisée par le peintre Bergère avant la crue de 1930 qui a modifié l'aspect des berges de l'Aveyron au moulin d'Ardus. Il est possible que cette oeuvre ait été commandée par la maison Peloffy, vendeur de vêtements de Montauban, pour décorer leur vitrine lors des fêtes de fin d'année (renseignement oral de Jean-Claude Periès).
